The Leica Noctivid 8×42 Binoculars justifiably sit at the very top of Leica’s binocular range. It is one of the World’s top three 42mm binoculars – it’s position within those three is only dictated by personal preference.
Schott HT high transmission glass ensures that the image viewed through these binoculars is absolutely stunning. Their contrast and colour fidelity is truly phenomenal, giving one of the finest images possible through any binocular. The lenses are coated with Leica’s water and dirt repellent ‘AquaDura’ coating, to keep them performing in any weather conditions, they are also waterproof to 5m.
One of the outstanding features of the Noctivid is the amazing depth of field, meaning moving focus from a nearby hedgerow to a distant woodland edge is quick and precise. The Noctivids focus down to 1.9m and have a very wide field-of-view (7.7 degrees) and both models weigh 860g, making them an excellent travel companion.
They are provided with a rainguard, lens caps, strap and a case.
